All consumers registered to attend the Survivorship Conference are invited to attend a pre-conference forum to share your perspective on shared care in cancer. The Forum will be held on Thursday 5th February, 2-5pm in Room 2, Level 1 at Flinders University in Victoria Square, Adelaide.
This pre-conference forum is hosted by PC4, the Primary Care Collaborative Cancer Clinical Trials Group funded by Cancer Australia to support the development of cancer research in primary care, and convened by Prof Bogda Koczwara as the Leader of our Scientific Working Group on Survivorship & Shared Care. We will review the draft Principles Statement for Implementing Shared Care and are seeking consumers’ views, specifically:
• Exploring consumer perspectives - What do consumers need?
• What can consumers do to advance this issue?
• Measuring what matters: How do we measure good shared care?
• How do we measure success?
Your participation will be voluntary and anonymous. We have approval from a Human Research Ethics Committee to record the event so we can accurately capture the discussion to prepare a report, of which all participants will receive a copy.
Please download a draft of the Principles Statement for Implementing Shared Care here.
To register your participation at the forum please email email@example.com by Tuesday 3rd February. Afternoon tea will be provided.
